Configure your badge

Customize your Gopher badge experience without needing to programme anything! Select a predefined image or upload your own, input your name and some other details and we'll create a handcrafted firmware with some demo features to start using your badge right away. The code is open-source and public, you can modify and improve it, this page serves as a fast way to use your badge without installing TinyGo or any other dependencies, even from a phone or tablet. We encourage you to follow the tutorial and learn the basics to fully exploit all the fatures of your badge.

Time to flash your badge

It's time to flash your gopher badge, please follow this instructions:

  1. We need to connect the gopher badge to your laptop with a USB cable. If using a phone or tablet, make sure OTG is enabled
  2. Put your badge into bootloader mode: hold the BOOT button on the back, press the RST button and release both
  3. After a few seconds,it will appear a new media storage RPI-RP2 on your laptop, phone or tablet. (Note: on Android, some file explorer doesn't find this new media disk)
  4. Click on the button below Compile & download, save the downloaded file on the root on the RPI-RP2 media storage. It could take 20-25s, please be patient.
  5. If done correctly, your gopher badge will reboot itself and run the new code
